Earth Prayer Practice ~ Spring/Autumn
Live Streamed

Our online course equipping you with the life-long skills of earth-based mindfulness practice and sustainability science to live with fierce compassion, purpose, and equanimity, and thrive through joy-filled action and sacred activism.

So if you can't trust the sustainability influencers, or the eco-friendly businesses, how do we know what is best for the planet? How do we cut through all the greenwashing and develop the skills and knowledge to decide for ourselves? This is where sustainability science comes to our rescue. And no you don't have to be a maths or science brain to understand it, there are very simple, easy to understand, easy to practice, principles of sustainability that can help guide our own innate decision making and help us create real and lasting change in our lives and in our communities that truly does serve the planet and her people. I'm so excited to share these with you - these are principles and practices that I teach to my second and third year Bcehlor or Environmental Science students, and while I didn't learn about them myself until I was in undergrade or doing my PhD in sustainability, you shouldn't have to enrol in university course to have these skills; they should be common knowledge.

In the first of our Earth Prayer series, open only to our Wilderness Yoga 'Seasons' Series we will draw on earth-based mindfulness, meditation, pranayama (breath work), yoga, and re-wilding practices, to ground into the season, and rediscover ourselves in the wilderness. This restorative workshop will guide us along the banks of the Yarra River, winding around Warrandyte township, through to gum-lined trails and tranquil vistas, as we journey together to rediscover ourselves, and the wild, in unexpected places.
Wild Tribe you asked, so you got it! We specifically designed these half day retreats to fit in around your busy schedule, and have curated stunning urban wilderness locations for our 'Seasons' series. Easier to access for an afternoon retreat, these locations are complete with gentle urban walking trails, toilet facilities, and provide easier walking than our regular full day retreats in National and State Parks. Its all about bringing you closer to the wilderness around you. We can't wait for you to join us in the wild!

* Easy hiking grade: General level walking on well-made trails. Uneven surfaces are present (rocks, tree roots, leaf litter etc). Slippery surfaces at times, particularly after rain.

Note: This is not a "walk in the park" :) As with all hikes in wilderness areas, the walking trails will of course be unpaved. As such, all hikes (including those categoried as 'easy') will have plentiful uneven ground, rough, slippery and undulating surfaces. This is the wild after all! If you have any concerns about the trail, or any injuries or illnesses which you'd like to discuss, please feel free to contact us (there is also a place to provide this info during online registration).
